McLean Police District – Detectives from Homicide and Crime Scene are investigating the discovery of two bodies inside a home in the 6700 block of Dean Drive in Mclean. Officers went to the home shortly after 2 p.m. today, after a caller reported that someone in the home might have been killed. Several unsuccessful attempts were made to communicate with anyone in the home and a reverse 911 call was placed to neighbors, asking them to remain inside their homes. Officers then entered the home and discovered the bodies. It is very early in the investigation and little is known about the circumstances surrounding these deaths. Officers and detectives will likely be on the scene throughout the night, canvassing the neighborhood, seeking information. At this point, there does not appear to be a threat to public safety.
