MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (BIAS CRIME): 8526 Amanda Place (Church of All Nations), 12/05/18, 6:25a.m. An employee reported a Middle Eastern man entered the church and destroyed a glass altar. Our officers found Laith Faisal, 26, of Vienna, inside and arrested him for destruction of property and entering property with the intent to damage.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 7400 block of Arlington Boulevard, 12/06/18, 2:25a.m.  The victim arranged a sale of shoes near this location through an app on his phone.  Upon meeting the two juvenile buyers, they threatened him and intimidated him into surrendering the shoes.  Our officers responded and located the two teens who had committed the robbery and both were identified by the victim.  Petitions were obtained on both juveniles after being interviewed by our detectives.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 5965 Kingstown Towne Center (GameStop), 12/06/18, 1:29a.m. Security for Kingstowne Towne Center witnessed two teenagers breaking into the GameStop to steal game consoles.  When confronting them, the two teens ran away and the security guard called police and provided a description.  Our officers responded and located both juveniles in the area and linked them to the burglary.  They were arrested and taken to the station to speak with detectives and petitions are pending.
