MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 8000 block of Buckman Court, 12/18/18, between 11:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The property manager arrived at the apartment complex and saw a man leave the laundry room with nothing in his hands. The man walked away from the area. The manager went to the laundry room which is normally locked and noticed that the door was forced open. Several tools and other miscellaneous items were left behind. It is not known at this time if anything was taken. The manager described the man to be white, tall, and wearing a hat.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

CREDIT CARD FRAUD: 1961 Chain Bridge Road (Tysons Corner Center), 12/18/18, 6:55 p.m. Officers were called to Forever 21 for two women using a stolen credit card. The pair bought merchandise and then returned the purchases to their personal accounts. When the officers arrived, the two women ran out of the store. The officers followed and arrested both women. Kaymeisha Keyes (left), 27, of California and Damanique Jones (right), 27, of California were found to have numerous stolen credit cards in their possession. Both women were charged with eight counts of credit card theft, two counts of defrauding a merchant, receiving goods from credit card, and identity fraud.

STOLEN AUTO: 1500 block of Spring Gate Drive, 12/17/18, 10:00 p.m. A pizza delivery driver arrived at a residence to drop off food. He left his vehicle unlocked with the keys in the ignition and the engine on. While returning to his vehicle, he saw a man get in his car and drive off. Officers found the car with the man sitting in the driver’s seat. Stolen property belonging to a resident that lived nearby was located inside of the vehicle as well. Michael Louk, 47, no fixed address, was charged with auto theft, vehicle trespassing, and grand larceny.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: 1300 block of Earnestine Street, 12/18/18, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:36 p.m. A resident came home discovered personal property missing.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 7400 block of Birdwood Avenue, 12/18/18, 7:03 p.m. A resident of the apartment complex called us because they smelled an odor of marijuana coming from a vacant unit. Officers entered the residence and found a man inside. Michael Spruill, 23, no fixed address, was arrested and charged with trespassing and possession of marijuana.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: 5300 block of Harbor Court, 12/18/18, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. A woman came home and noticed her front door open. She walked in the house and discovered that several electronic devices, clothes, shoes, and other miscellaneous items were taken from the residence.

5800 block of Kingstowne Boulevard, merchandise from business 

STOLEN VEHICLES:

3400 block of Burgundy Road, 2004 Honda Accord

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: 8700 block of Sheridan Farms Court, 12/19/18, 4:08 a.m. Officers were called for a car that hit two townhomes. No one was injured. The driver, Troy Gozalzadeh, 19, of Springfield was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
