SULLY DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 14240 Centreville Square (AT&T), 01/09/19, 2:08 A.M. Two men broke into the AT&T store and tried to steal electronics. The suspects left in a dark colored SUV.  They were wearing dark clothing.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 2600 block of Arlington Drive, between 01/04 and 01/08. The property manager for the apartment complex found a broken window on one of his units. The thermostat had been raised inside. This unit also had a broken window last week.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 6600 block of School Lane, 01/07/19, 9:30 p.m.  The victim was playing basketball when he was approached by a group of men. One of the men knocked him to the ground and stole his sneakers and cell phone. The suspect left with the other men in a car.  The suspect was described as man in his early 20s.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7875 Heritage Drive (Dollar Plus), 01/08/19, 9:49pm.  Store security was alerted someone was in the store after hours while the store was closed and checked the video feed. Officers arrived and arrested the man as he went out the back door. 23-year-old Dery Chirino-Montalvan, of Annandale, was arrested and charged with burglary and an outstanding warrant was served.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 9542 Old Keene Mill Rd (AT&T), 01/09/19, 1:46 A.M. Two men broke into the AT&T store. The suspects did not take anything and left in a dark colored car. They were wearing dark colored clothing.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5765 Burke Centre Pkwy (AT&T), 01/09/19, 1:52 A.M.  Two men broke into the AT&T store. The suspects did not take anything and left in a dark colored car. They were wearing dark colored clothing.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY (BIAS CRIME): 8710 Parliament Drive (Kings Park), 01/07/19, 3:26 p.m. A citizen reported swastikas carved into the playground equipment. The Fairfax County Park Authority were contacted and are in the process of fixing the damage.
