Arrest Made Related to Series of Gas Station Robberies
Sully Police District – A 31-year-old man is facing several robbery charges following an investigation of four commercial robberies at gas stations since Jan. 23. Eric Thompson, of Chantilly, was charged with four counts of robbery, as well as an outstanding robbery warrant on an unrelated case.
Our detectives were able to connect the following robberies where a knife was either implied or shown:

Yesterday afternoon we received a suspicious person call about a man who was sleeping in the 13900 block of Lee Jackson Memorial Highway. Our officers found the man and recognized Thompson who provided a false name. Thompson tried to run away before being placed under arrest and was held on no bond.
