Arrests Made in Series of 7-Eleven Robberies

Reston Police District- Three men and three juveniles were arrested Monday morning after they robbed a Reston area 7-Eleven store. Since June 21, detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau have been investigating a series of commercial robberies at local 7-Eleven stores. In each incident, a group of suspects entered the store, displayed a firearm and demanded cash. Detectives were able to identify potential suspects as well as a getaway vehicle being used in the robberies. About 2:30 a.m. on July 1, the suspects robbed the 7-Eleven at 10508 Leesburg Pike. A lookout was provided to our local law enforcement partners. Deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office found the car and apprehended five suspects after a vehicle pursuit. Our detectives responded to their location to assume the investigation.
