ROBBERY: 7800 block of Belford Drive, 7/19/19, 10 p.m. A man was walking in the area when two people approached displayed a handgun and demanded his property. The two people took the items and ran away. The first suspect was described as a black male, wearing a white tank top and black pants. The second suspect was described as a black female who had several tattoos.

BURGLARY: 5600 block of Fenwick Drive, 7/19/19 – 07/21/19. Someone entered the home and stole several electronic items.

ROBBERY: 8300 block of Leesburg Pike, 7/18/19, 10 p.m. The victim was walking in the area when a man approached him demanding money. The suspect took the victim’s money and left the area. The suspect is described as black, 5’10, in his late teens and wearing a white tank top.

ROBBERY ATTEMPT: 1700 block of Pinnacle Drive, 7/19/19, 11:30 a.m. A woman was sitting in her car when a man approached, demanded her property and attempted to open her door. The man did not take anything and left the area. The suspect is described as white, in his 30’s, with a crew cut and wearing a large backpack.

BURGLARY: 1371 Beverly Road (Wok N’ Roll), 7/18/19 – 7/19/19. Someone broke a window, entered the store and took property.

BURGLARY: 6715 Lowell Avenue (House of Fortune), 7/18/19 – 7/19/19. An employee reported someone entered the business and took property from inside.

BURGLARY: 1572 Spring Hill Rd (Caliber Collision) 7/20/19, 11:53 p.m. Someone entered the business overnight and stole several sets of car keys.

PURSUIT: I-495 near Little River Turnpike, 7/20/19, 11:02 p.m. Officers tried to stop a silver Toyota Celica for traffic violations when the driver refused to stop. The pursuit ended when officers used a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) to stop the car before it was in a more heavily populated area. When the car came to a stop, the man got out and tried running away. Officers arrested and charged the driver, Carlos Ochoa Miyan, 22, of Springfield, with reckless driving, no taillights, felony speed to elude, DUI, refusal of breath test, expired state inspection, no driver’s license and possession of marijuana.072019, Mugshot - Ochoa Miyan, Carlos Jhonatan

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY: Americana Dr/Inverton Rd, 7/21/19, 1:16 a.m. Officers patrolling the area found a 2015 Subaru Outback that was reported stolen from Frederick County three days prior. A man was seen getting into the stolen car and was arrested by officers before he could leave. The driver, Rony Mazariegos-Lemus, 20, of Manassas, was arrested and charged with grand larceny.
