PURSUIT/WARRANT ARREST: 14000 block of Conference Center Drive, 7/27/19, 12:36 a.m. An officer noticed a Toyota Camry driving recklessly in the area and attempted a traffic stop. The car sped away for a short distance. Two occupants jumped from the moving car and ran away. The car continued to roll through a fence and came to rest in a retention pond. The officer was able to arrest the passenger after a short foot pursuit. Azhar Smart, 18, of Triangle, was charged with false identification to law enforcement and arrested on an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. Officers were able to identify the driver of the car and obtained warrants.

BURGLARY: 3000 block of Preston Avenue, 5/28/19 – 7/26/19. The homeowner returned home to find a door was damaged and several personal items taken from their home.
ROBBERY: 7700 block of Richmond Highway, 7/26/19, 10:16 p.m. A delivery driver was approached by a man and woman. The man displayed a handgun, demanded money then hit the driver in the head with the gun. The driver gave the suspects cash and the two ran away. The first suspect is described as a black man, 20 years old, 5’11’’, wearing a white shirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a black woman, 5’ and in her teens.
ROBBERY: 6500 block of Quander Road, 7/26/2019, 1:43 p.m. The victim was approached by a juvenile suspect who assaulted him and stole a pair of headphones. Officers investigated and recovered the headphones; the juvenile suspect has been charged.
ROBBERY: 8600 block of Village Way, 7/26/2019, 9:29 p.m. The victim was walking in the area when he was assaulted by a group of ten juveniles. The suspects took the victim’s wallet. The group was described as Hispanic males in their late teens to early 20s.
BURGLARY: 8631 Richmond Highway (Kiki Nails), 7/27/19 – 7/28/19, 10:30. Someone entered the store overnight and stole cash.

ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCMENT/DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 8600 block of Leesburg Pike, 7/28/19 12:25 a.m. Officers saw a man who appeared to be intoxicated walking toward oncoming traffic. The man took an aggressive stance toward officers and displayed a knife. Officers were able to de-escalate the situation and convince the man to drop the knife. The man began to resist arrest by pulling his arms away and trying to break free. Jon Lincoln (no picture available), 39, no fixed address, was charged with assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

ROBBERY: 5842 Columbia Pike (Shell Station), 7/27/19, 6:10 p.m. The clerk noticed a man stealing ice from the store and told him he needed to pay for the item. The man then assaulted the clerk and ran out of the store. Officers found the man and arrested him. Shawn Luzaki-Salvaris, 41, no fixed address, was charged with robbery and strangulation.

UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 12000 block of Fox View Way, 7/29/19, 12:07 a.m. A homeowner heard a noise coming from downstairs and observed a man in the home from his security cameras. The homeowner shouted for the man to leave and he did. Officers found and arrested Andre Irick, 23, of Reston, nearby. He was charged with unlawful entry.
