FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

PURSUIT: Telegraph Road/Fairfax County Parkway, 8/28/19, 7:37 p.m. Officers tried to stop a Honda Civic for a traffic violation. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued. Officers used the Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) which brought the pursuit to an end and resulted in Nelson Villatoro, 30, of Maryland, being taken into custody. He was charged with disregarding police command, hit and run, possession of schedule I or II drugs, carrying a concealed weapon and providing false identifying information to law enforcement. He was taken to the Adult Detention Center and held without bond.
