SEX OFFENDER VIOLATION: 11375 Center Harbor Road (Aldrin Elementary School), 3:54 p.m. A suspicious man followed someone into the school and was confronted by a staff member. The man left the school when asked but remained on school property. Officers arrived and located Benjamin Garrett, 29, of Washington D.C., as he was walking away from the school. Officers determined that Garrett is a registered sex offender and was wanted on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction. Garrett was arrested and charged with entering school property after a violent sex offense conviction. He is being held at the Adult Detention Center without bond.
