MASON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5100 Leesburg Pike Suite 101 (Skyline Pharmacy), 6/11/20, 1:23 a.m. Officers responded for an alarm and found the front glass door had been shattered. Investigation revealed two men broke into the business and stole property. The suspects were described as black men wearing dark clothing.

ROBBERY: 3300 block of Gallows Road, 6/10/20, 10:45 p.m. A man was approached on a sidewalk by two teenagers who assaulted him and stole his personal property. The suspects ran away. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

VEHICLE PURSUIT: Beulah Street/Kingstowne Village Parkway, 6/11/20, 4:25 a.m. Officers attempted to stop a 2014 Nissan Juke for a traffic violation, but the driver refused to stop resulting in a pursuit. The driver eventually stopped and was taken into custody. Jeremy Runaldue, 27, of Alexandria, was charged with speed to elude, reckless driving and driving without a license.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

GRAND LARCENY/VEHICLE PURSUIT: 3919 Centreville Road (CVS), 6/11/20, 3:24 p.m. Officers attempted to stop a 2016 Dodge Journey that was involved in a theft from a business. The driver refused to stop resulting in a pursuit. The driver hit a parked vehicle, kept driving and a decision was made to terminate the pursuit. A lookout was provided, and the driver was arrested with the assistance of the Virginia State Police. Karim Clayton, 42, of Washington, D.C., was charged with grand larceny, larceny with intent to sell or distribute, speed to elude, hit and run and driving without a license.
