VEHICLE PURSUIT: Compton Road at Bay Valley Lane, 9/10/20, 3:22 a.m. Detectives attempted to stop a car for traffic violations. The driver refused to stop, which resulted in a pursuit. The driver of the car caused damage to a police vehicle and was taken into custody. Mohamad Idlibi, 35, of Manassas was charged on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction and felony speed to elude. He was transported to a hospital for minor injuries.
ROBBERY: 3100 block of Elmwood Dr, 9/5/20, between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. The victim was at an ATM when three males that he had just met at a restaurant assaulted him, took his personal property, then ran away. The victim did not report any injuries.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY/VEHICLE PURSUIT: 6600 Richmond Highway (Target), 9/7/2020, 5 p.m. Officers responded to a robbery that just occurred and attempted to stop a 2003 Chevrolet sedan that was involved. The driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit. Once the vehicle was stopped, the driver was arrested. The passenger ran away but was caught after a short foot pursuit. Both the passenger and an officer sustained minor injuries. The driver, Tracy Thompson, 53, of Washington D.C., was charged with felony eluding of police. The passenger, Rafael Russell, 39, of Forestville, Maryland, was charged with robbery, attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer, and assault on a law enforcement officer.
PEEPING: 2100 block of Evans Court, 9/9/20, 12:28 a.m. The victim was in her bedroom when she saw a man outside the window who appeared to be taking pictures of her. The man ran away and was not located.
VEHICLE PURSUIT: Patrick Henry Drive/Arlington Boulevard, 9/5/2020, 1:08 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a red Mercury sedan for a traffic violation when the driver refused to stop, resulting in a pursuit. The driver, Johslin Lopez Rodas, 31, of Falls Church, was charged with no operator’s license, speeding, and eluding.
ROBBERY: 3800 block of South George Mason Drive, 9/11/20, 2 a.m. The victim was standing outside when he was approached by two men. One of the men displayed a handgun and took personal property. The victim was not injured and the men drove away.
