High School Tennis Coach Arrested for Indecent Liberties Against Child

SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Lee Highway at Trinity Parkway, 6/24/21, 9:00 p.m. A man assaulted the victim and demanded property. Nothing was taken and the victim did not report any injuries.

DESTRUCTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY: 14330 Green Trails Boulevard (Centreville Elementary School), 6/11/21-6/22/21, School employees contacted police after finding several busses vandalized.

BURGLARY/DESTRUCTION/IMPERSONATION OF POLICE OFFICER/ASSAULT/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 15000 block of Olddale Road, 6/23/21, 4:14 a.m.  A man left his home after a domestic incident and attempted to force entry into two nearby homes while identifying himself as a police officer. Officers arrived and located Carl Calabrese, 36, of Centreville, being held down by a homeowner. As officers attempted to detain Calabrese he fought with them until being arrested. He was charged with burglary, assault on law enforcement, two counts of destruction of property, simple assault and impersonating a law enforcement officer.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 6200 block of Richmond Highway, 6/24/21, 11:07 a.m. A man demanded entry into a business while waving a knife. Officers arrived and located the man who ran from officers but was caught nearby. Donte Glenn, 36, of Alexandria, was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and preventing law enforcement from making an arrest.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 8263 Richmond Highway (Amoco), 6/24/21, 2:03 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

No significant events to report.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

SHOOTING: Bellview Drive at Glen Carlyn Drive, 6/24/21, 11:30 p.m. The victim reported he was walking near the intersection, heard gunshots from behind him and was struck in the arm. The victim was treated at the hospital for injuries not considered life threatening.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5600 block of Columbia Pike (Marathon Gas), 6/20/21, 3:25 a.m.  Someone forced entry into the business and took property.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5800 block of Columbia Pike (Shell Gas), 6/20/21, 3:03 a.m.  Someone forced entry into the business and left without taking property.

ROBBERY: 3400 block of Charles Street, 6/22/21, 10:40 a.m. A man approached the victim with a knife and demanded cash and property before running away.

DESTRUCTION OF SCHOOL PROPERTY: 3705 Crest Drive (Mason Crest Elementary School), 6/21/21, overnight. School employees contacted police after finding graffiti on a basketball court.

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 1700 block of Torrey Pines Court, 6/17/21, 1:18 a.m.  Employees discovered bullet holes in the building. Officers arrived and discovered cartridge cases nearby. No injuries were reported.

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 7000 block of Commerce Street, 6/21/21, 12:40 a.m. The victim was approached by a man who displayed a gun and demanded money before leaving in a car. No injuries were reported.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 7100 block of Old Keene Mill Road, 6/20/21, 1:47 a.m. Two men approached the victim, displayed a knife and demanded property. The men left without taking any property and the victim was not injured.
