MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION 

STABBING: 7800 block of Richmond Highway, 12/30/21, 7:19 p.m. After an argument, an 18-year-old man from Alexandria stabbed the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries that were not considered life threatening. The Alexandria man was charged with malicious wounding. This was not a random act.  

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY/ ELUDING/ HIT AND RUN/ NARCOTICS VIOLATION: 5900 block of Richmond Highway, 1/5/22, 5:31 p.m. An officer saw a 2007 Dodge Caliber that was reported stolen from a nearby jurisdiction. The officer attempted to make a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, a 53-year-old female from Maryland, disregarded the officer’s signal to stop and drove in reverse, striking a community member’s vehicle, and disabling the vehicle she was operating. The female was taken into custody. An officer reported injuries that were not considered life threatening. No other injuries were reported. The woman was charged with possession of schedule I or II drug, hit and run, disregarding a command to stop, intentionally damaging property, larceny third or subsequent and being in possession of stolen goods valued at greater than one thousand dollars.  

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION 

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY/POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS: I-495 at Arlington Boulevard, 12/30/21, 7:55 p.m. An officer saw a 2019 Honda Accord that was reported stolen from a nearby jurisdiction. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a 37-year-old Maryland woman was taken into custody. She was charged with fail to return bailment property, and possession of schedule I or II narcotics.   

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT/ LICENSE VIOLATION: I-495 at Leesburg Pike, 12/31/21, 9:36 p.m. An officer saw a 2014 BMW X1 that was reported stolen from a nearby jurisdiction. When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver, a 21-year-old Maryland man, attempted to elude officers by striking a cruiser with his vehicle. The man was charged with grand larceny and assault on a law enforcement officer. 

MASON DISTRICT STATION 

ROBBERY: 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive, 12/29/21, 11:30 p.m. The victim was walking when he was approached by three men. The men assaulted the victim and took property. The victim reported injuries not considered life-threatening. 

ROBBERY: 6210 Seven Corners (Home Depot), 12/30/21, 7:02 p.m. A man and a woman loaded a shopping cart with merchandise and walked out of the store without paying. When confronted by a store employee, the man displayed a knife threatening the employee. The man and women fled the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

ROBBERY: 6200 block of Little River Turnpike, 12/31/21, 1:42 p.m. The victim was waiting outside a business when he was approached by two men. One of the men pressed a sharp object against the victim and demanded property. The men took the victim’s property and fled the area. The victim reported injuries not considered life threatening. 

ROBBERY: 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard, 1/6/21, 10:00 a.m. Three men assaulted the victim and took property. No injuries were reported.  

RESTON DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 13190 Parcher Avenue (7-Eleven), 12/30/21, 6:59 p.m. A man entered the business, displayed a weapon, and took property. No injuries were reported.  

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION 

RECKLESS DISCHARGE/MISSLE INTO OCCUPIED DEWLLING: 5716 South Van Dorn (Comfort Inn), 1/2/21, 1:50 a.m. Two groups of men got into an altercation in the parking lot. A member of one of the groups retrieved a firearm and began shooting at members of the other group. Several vehicles and the building were damaged by gunfire. No injuries were reported. Preliminarily, this was not a random act. 

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 7700 block of Gunston Plaza, 1/6/22, 7:27 p.m. A 33-year-old Manassas man entered a restaurant and stabbed a known associate in the lower body. Officers arrived within a minute of the call for service and took the man into custody. The man was charged with malicious wounding and concealed carry violation. Initially, the victim was taken to the hospital for injuries considered life threatening. At the hospital, the injuries were upgraded and were not considered life threatening. 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION 

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: I-495 at Arlington Boulevard, 12/30/21, 7:55 p.m. An officer saw a 2019 Honda Accord that was reported stolen from an out-of-state jurisdiction. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and a 26-year-old man from Woodbridge was arrested. The man was charged with grand larceny and operating a motor vehicle without a license. 

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION 

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 2975 Chain Bridge Road (Santini’s), 1/1/22, 11:53 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property.
