ROBBERY: 14000 block of Saint Germain Drive, 3/29/22, 10:37 p.m. A 19-year-old man approached the victim, displayed a knife, and demanded property. The man left on foot. The victim provided a detailed description of the man to responding officers. Officers found the man nearby and took him into custody. The man was charged with robbery. No injuries were reported.
CARJACKING: 3700 block of Rolling Hills Avenue, 3/26/22, 7:27 p.m. The victim was driving his 2017 Toyota Corolla when four men in a brown Nissan Altima blocked his vehicle. The men then got out of the Altima, displayed a firearm and assaulted the victim. The men then left the area in the victim’s car. The victim was treated for injuries not considered life threatening.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 7500 Richmond Highway (Real Tobacco), 3/27/22, 2:01 a.m. A man forced entry into the business and took property.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 3055 Nutley Street (Enterprise Rent-A-Car), 3/31/22, 1:49 a.m. A man forced entry into the business and took property. Officers determined a 41-year-old man was responsible for the burglary. The man was arrested and charged with burglary.
WEAPONS VIOLATION: 6000 block of Knollwood Drive, 3/26/22, 9:02 a.m. The victim called police after he woke to find a bullet hole through his curtain and window. Officers recovered a bullet inside the residence. No other property was damaged, and no injuries were reported.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6210 Seven Corners Center (Home Depot), 3/26/22, 5:21 p.m. Two men took merchandise past the point of sale without paying. When confronted by a store employee, one of the men assaulted the employee. The men left the area in a white work van. No injuries were reported.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 6544 Little River Turnpike (Tobacco Store), 3/29/22, 4:43 p.m. Three men entered the business and took merchandise with force. No injuries were reported.
BANK ROBBERY: 11800 Spectrum Center (Citibank), 3/31/22, 12:15 p.m. A man entered the bank, took cash and ran. The man was wearing all black with a mask.
WEAPONS VIOLATION: 6000 block of Grayson Street, 3/27/22, 12:53 a.m. The victim heard gunshots and saw that his vehicle had been struck by gunfire. A witness stated they saw two men shooting from a small dark colored sedan. A bullet was recovered by officers. No other damage or injuries were reported.
