Detectives Seek Help From Community in Shooting Investigation That Leaves One Dead, One Injured 

Mason Police District – Detectives continue to investigate the early morning fatal shooting that occurred in the Build America Plaza parking lot.  Around 2:19 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a shot person in the 3800 block of South George Mason Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads. Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Seven Corners

Mason Police District – Detectives from our Crash Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian crash that occurred at 6:18 a.m. at Wilson Boulevard and John Marshall Drive in Seven Corners.   Preliminarily, detectives determined Ana Julia Acosta De Ostorga, 58, of Falls Church was attempting to cross Wilson Boulevard in an unknown direction, in or near the pedestrian crossing.
