OCIB Detectives Make Major Arrest After Extensive Drug Ring Investigation

Fairfax, Va- Organized Crime and Narcotics Detectives’ months-long investigation led to the arrest of four men and significant drug seizure.

Detectives initiated their investigation in March of 2023, following a tip regarding a narcotics distribution ring operating in the Mount Vernon District. Through their diligent efforts, the detectives gathered substantial evidence and successfully apprehended four individuals, who now face multiple charges.

During the operation, the detectives successfully confiscated a range of illicit substances, including Psilocybin and LSD, along with two firearms. Additionally, they seized over $138k in cash, discovered several bank accounts, valuable jewelry, and even a Porsche SUV – all believed to be connected to the illegal operations.

The seized narcotics alone have an estimated street value worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, highlighting the significance of this dismantling operation.

The detectives’ persistence and meticulous approach in gathering evidence have disrupted the illegal drug trade in our community and ensured our residents’ safety and well-being.
