Fairfax County Police Department Investigating Inmate Death at Adult Detention Center

Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are investigating the in-custody death of 30-year-old inmate Christopher Fojt, of Reston. Fojt was found unresponsive in his single-cell around 11 p.m. Thursday night. He was taken from the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center (ADC) to an area hospital where he remained under the care of a physician. Sadly, he was pronounced deceased yesterday.

Springfield Man Charged in Homicide of Two Teenagers

West Springfield Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau continue to investigate after two teenagers were killed in a shooting yesterday in the 8000 block of Winding Way Court in Springfield. Officers responded for the report of a shooting around 3:18 p.m. Officers found one juvenile victim inside the garage suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
