Parking Spot Dispute Leaves Two Men Hospitalized

Sully Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Centreville that occurred last night leaving two men hospitalized.

Yesterday, just before 11:00 p.m., officers from our Sully Police District responded to the 14000 block of Golden Oak Road for a shooting. The caller reported that her boyfriend had been shot near the entrance of their residence. A second caller reported that another man was also shot and was lying outside.

When officers arrived, they found a man in the kitchen of his residence suffering from gunshot wounds. A second man was found lying in his foyer several townhouses down, also suffering from gunshot wounds. The officers provided aid until Fairfax County Fire and Rescue personnel arrived. Both men were transported to the hospital and remain hospitalized.

Preliminarily, detectives determined both men were in the parking lot arguing over a parking spot prior to the shooting. Two firearms were found at the scene.
