MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

PERSON EXPERIENCING MENTAL CRISIS/ASSAULT ON FAMILY MEMBER/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT, 3000 block of Colonial Springs Court, 09/30/15, around 4:30 p.m. Officers responded for a report of a domestic assault. A woman experiencing a mental crisis assaulted a family member and was taken into custody after she assaulted an officer while he attempted to calm her down. While at the Magistrate’s office, the woman assaulted the officer again. Joni N. Murray, 34, of Annandale, was charged with assault on family member and assault on law enforcement.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

FRAUD, 6600 block of Old Dominion Drive, 09/30/15 around 1.30 p.m. A woman entered a bank and conducted several fraudulent transactions. The suspect resisted and was taken into custody by responding officers. Monica D. Davison, 41, of Louisville, Kentucky, was charged with two counts of forgery, identify theft and resisting arrest.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY, 7600 block of Broadway Drive, 10/01/15, around 1:24 a.m. A cab driver was sitting in his vehicle and was approached by a man. The man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim did not comply and drove away from the suspect. The suspect was described as black, 20 to 30 years of age, thin build, and wearing dark clothing.
