Man Posing as Walmart Employee Steals Cash from Register

A man entered a Walmart store in the 13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center on Tuesday, December 15, at around 4 p.m., wearing a Walmart employee vest. He approached a cashier and told him that he was needed in the office.  The suspect then took control of the register, checked out a customer, then stole an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect then left the store and fled the scene in a silver Honda.

The suspect may have also stolen from Walmart stores in Farmville, Va., and Maryland.

The suspect was described as black, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet 1 inch tall, 170 to 180 pounds. He was wearing a white T-shirt and a Walmart employee vest.
