Third Update: Death Investigation of Paul Arthur Gianelos

As detectives from the Major Crimes Division continue their investigation, they would like to hear from anyone who was riding the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA 3A) bus on Wednesday, April 20 around 1 p.m.; the day of this incident. This is the bus route from Annandale Road to East Falls Church. They would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area; either walking, riding a bicycle or in a vehicle. Detectives continue to gather information as they await the report from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

All of the involved officers remain on routine administrative restricted duty in non-patrol duty assignments while the investigation continues.
