TRAFFIC PURSUIT/ARREST: Allen Street/Arlington Boulevard, 1/5/18 around 12:15 a.m. An officer saw a vehicle with an equipment violation traveling at a high rate of speed on residential streets. The officer activated his lights, but the driver accelerated away from him. The driver eventually came to a stop near Oak Ridge Road and Wayne Road. Francisco Maldonado Sanabria, 25, of Falls Church, was arrested and charged with felony speed to elude, reckless driving and defective equipment. No one was injured.

BURGLARY: 5900 block of Camberly Avenue, 1/4/18 around 11:30 a.m. Someone entered the residence and took cash and jewelry. The case is ongoing.
ROBBERY: 6200 block of Backlick Road, 1/4/18 around 12:00 p.m. The victim had just left the bank and was approached by a man in the parking lot. The suspect demanded money and the victim gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then left in a nearby waiting car. The case is ongoing.
