Detectives Seeking Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Gas Station Robbery

Reston Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at the Chevron gas station located at 11410 North Shore Drive in Reston last Wednesday night. Just before 8:30, a man dressed in all dark clothing entered the business. He picked an item off the shelf and approached the counter before pulling out a gun demanding money. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was not injured. Our officers arrived on scene within two minutes of the call and searched the area along with a K9 team in conjunction with the helicopter. The suspect was not located.
