BURGLARY: 4700 block of Rippling Pond Drive on 1/31/18 between 2:30p.m. and 6:00p.m. A resident reported that their home was broken into. Several items were taken from the home.
COMMUNITY AWARENESS: In the Reston/Herndon area of Fairfax County there have been break-ins at 20 homes from September through January. All the break-ins appear to be similar in nature and have happened at homes, townhomes, and apartments near a walking path or woods. Personal items from the homes have been taken. There is an active investigation ongoing.
