ROBBERY: 2600 block of Arlington Drive, 12/17/18, 8:20 p.m. A man was walking home and chose to take a short cut through a fence opening. As he walked through the opening, he was hit in the head with a piece of wood by a man. A second man appeared and demanded money. The men left after the victim gave them cash. The victim was not injured. Both men are believed to be Hispanic, slim build, and in their late teens to early 20’s. The first man was about 5’ tall, and was wearing a white t-shirt, blue sweatpants, and used an orange shirt to cover his face. The second man was said to be about 5’8”, wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans, and used a white shirt to cover his face.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 9400 block of Lee Highway, 12/17/18, 3:18 a.m. Residents called for help when they saw a man yelling outside of their building. Officers arrived and discovered the man was hallucinating after taking drugs. The man continued to yell and refused to follow the officers’ instructions. The man then tried to run away but was caught, arrested, and taken to a local hospital as a precaution. The man refused medical treatment. Aymen Mohammed, 23, of Fairfax, was released on a summons for disorderly conduct and obstruction of justice.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED: Route 50/Cherry Street, 12/18/18, 3:03 a.m. An officer attempted to stop a car for a traffic violation; however, the driver refused to stop and continued driving at a high rate of speed. The officer followed the car which eventually turned onto a dead-end road. The driver tried to run away but was caught and arrested by officers. The minor passenger was released to a parent. Noah Delery, 21, of Nokesville, was charged with driving while intoxicated with a minor, driving with an open container, child abuse, disregarding police signal, and driving on a revoked license.
