SULLY DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 5501 Union Mill Road (Shell station), 02/01/2019, 1:50 p.m. Two men entered the Shell station armed with a knife and announced a robbery. The men took cash from the clerk and ran away. There were no injuries to the victim.

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 6727 South Kings Highway (7-Eleven), 02/04/2019, 2:05 a.m. A man entered the store wearing a mask and displayed a handgun. The clerk gave him cash and the man ran away. There were no injuries to the victim.

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 1400 block of Broadstone Place, 2/1/19, 5:26 p.m. The homeowner arrived home and reported someone forced entry to the rear door. It was determined that someone had entered the home but nothing appeared to have been taken.

PEEPING: 2001 International Drive (Galleria at Tysons), 2/3/19, 9:05 a.m. A man followed a woman into the women’s restroom and he tried to look in between the stalls. The woman confronted the man who then left. The man was described as white, 30 to 40 years-old, with brown hair.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

ASSAULT: 6000 block of Knollwood Drive, 2/2/19, 1:04 a.m. Officers responded to a fight at an apartment complex involving a group of men. Three men were injured and one man required hospitalization after being cut during the altercation. The injuries were not life threatening.

BURGLARY: 10000 block of Park Royal Drive, 2/1/19, 8:25 p.m. The homeowner arrived home to find their front door open and rooms in disarray. Someone forced entry to the rear sliding door and stole personal property.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION

ROBBERY: 6200 block of Rolling Road, 02/01/2019, 2:30 p.m. The victim met with an unknown man to sell him a cell phone. The man implied he had a weapon and took the victim’s phone without paying for it.  The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as an 18 to 25-year-old black male, 5’5”-6’, 150 to 180 lbs. and wearing a black Adidas coat.

ROBBERY: 5727 Burke Centre Parkway (Safeway), 02/02/2019, 11:00 p.m. Two men entered the Safeway and filled a basket with merchandise.  They left the store without paying for the merchandise.  The manager confronted the men in the parking lot.  One of the men displayed a black handgun, which is believed to have been an airsoft gun, and fired multiple shots into the ground before running away. The manager was not injured. One suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, wearing a white and gray jacket with a fur-lined hood, jeans and curly hair. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 6’, heavyset wearing a black jacket and black pants.

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

BURGLARY: 11000 block of Stoneledge Court, 02/01/2019, 7:06 p.m. Officers responded to a burglary alarm at the location and found a broken glass door. A room was ransacked and personal items were taken.

11700 block of Fair Oaks Shopping Center, wallet from location
