MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION

NARCOTICS VIOLATION: 7392 Lee Highway, 03/17/19, 9:27 p.m. An officer stopped a car for a stop sign violation. The officer smelled marijuana in the car. Over 3 ounces of marijuana were discovered inside the car. Darryl Baker, 43, of Maryland, was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute marijuana.

MASON DISTRICT STATION

SHOPLIFTING/RESISTING ARREST/ATTEMPTED DISARMING OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER: 6100 Arlington Boulevard (Target), 03/16/19, 4:24 p.m. Officers attempted to detain a man in the Target parking lot who was suspected of shoplifting. The man became combative and attempted to take the officer’s firearm and baton. He was ultimately taken into custody and identified as Raheel Aijaz, 26, of Manassas. Raheel was charged with grand larceny, attempted disarming of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, and possession of marijuana.
