Detectives Seeking Additional Victims in Contractor Fraud Case

Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are seeking potential additional victims after Stephen Ashford, 38, of Broad Run in Fauquier County, was arrested on July 22. Ashford was charged with three counts of felony embezzlement, three counts of contracting without a license and was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where he posted bond. He was then transferred to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center where he was wanted on related charges.

Ashford owns a contracting company, Pro + Design that was previously named Pro Home Remodeling. Multiple victims were identified and detectives believe there may be additional victims in this case.
