RECKLESS DISCHARGE: 6700 block of Newman Road, 4/12/20, 5:44 p.m. A woman saw a car driving in the neighborhood and heard the sound of multiple gunshots. Officers found shell casings in the area. No one was injured.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 7300 block of Richmond Highway, 4/10/20, 7:07 p.m. Officers were checking the area for a possible assault when they saw a man walking around who appeared intoxicated. Officers took him into custody and during the arrest the man assaulted an officer. Mohamed Roble, 26, of Alexandria, was charged with assault on a law enforcement officer and drunk in public. He was held without bond.
COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 8646 Richmond Highway (Safeway), 4/11/20, 9:52 a.m. An employee confronted a woman for stealing store merchandise. The woman assaulted the employee and left the area. The suspect was described as a 20-30 year old black woman.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC/ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCEMENT: 4100 block of Hummer Road, 4/10/20, 3:07 p.m. A man was seen walking around a parking lot who appeared intoxicated. Officers took him into custody and during the arrest the man assaulted two officers. Jose Ayala Osorio, 27, of Springfield, was charged with two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer and drunk in public. He was held on a $5,000 secured bond.

ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 9829 Georgetown Pike (Exxon Gas Station), 4/10/20, 12:25 p.m. A man entered the store, walked up to the counter and demanded cash from the register. The clerk told him there was no money and the man left the store. The suspect was described as a 30-40 year old man.
