FELONY HIT AND RUN/POSSESSION OF A FIREARM BY A FELON: Richmond Highway/South Kings Highway, 4/19/20, 12:48 p.m. Officers located a red Toyota Celica involved in a hit and run crash that just occurred and saw the driver who is a convicted felon, Carole Jacobus, 59, of Alexandria, discard a rifle nearby. She was found to be in possession of narcotics and stolen credit cards. Jacobus was charged with felony hit and run, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession with the intent to sell schedule I/II narcotics, possession of schedule I/II narcotics while possessing a firearm and six counts of credit card theft. She was held without bond.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY/STOLEN AUTO: 2600 Huntington Avenue (Action Service Center), 4/18/20, 2:30 a.m. Someone broke into the business and stole a 2015 BMW 2DR and other property. No suspect information available.

LARCENY/POSSESSION OF BURGLARIOUS TOOLS: 1500 Cornerside Boulevard (Walmart), 4/18/20, 8:19 p.m. Employees reported that a man had just left the store after stealing merchandise. Alberto Vidana-Manjarrez, 31, of McLean, ran from officers and was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit. He was charged with larceny and possession of burglarious tools. No photo available.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: 1800 block of Wiehle Avenue, 4/17/20, 8:24 p.m. The victim was walking from the metro station when a man approached him, demanded his wallet and assaulted him. The man did not get the wallet and walked away. The victim was not injured. The suspect was located a short distance away and taken into custody. Aaron Hunt, 22, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with attempted robbery. He was held without bond. No photo available.
STOLEN AUTO: 1800 block of Wiehle Avenue, 4/17/20, 5:57 p.m. The victim’s 2020 Jeep Wrangler was stolen earlier in the day from the Town of Herndon. The victim provided officers with a location of the stolen vehicle that he was tracking on an app and officers located it along with the suspect. Anthony Ellison, 34, of Burke, was arrested and charged with grand larceny. He was held without bond.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN AUTO/OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE: I-66/Nutley Street, 4/18/20, 2:03 a.m. Officers stopped to help a motorist believed to be experiencing a medical emergency and later determined that the 2004 Honda Accord was reported stolen from Prince William County. The two men appeared to be intoxicated and one man was walking into traffic. Sampson Payne, 52, of Washington, D.C., resisted arrest but was taken into custody and charged with possession of schedule I/II narcotics, receiving stolen property, providing false statement to police and obstruction of justice. James Turner, 47, of Manassas, was charged with receiving stolen property and obstruction of justice. Both men were held without bond.
