UNLAWFUL ENTRY: 2505 Cedar Lane (Thoreau Middle School), 5/14/20, 3:30 p.m. School Security and officers arrived for a school alarm and saw a juvenile on school property. An investigation revealed a juvenile entered the school, but nothing appeared to have been taken or damaged. Charges are pending.

ROBBERY: Centreville Road/Sunrise Valley Drive, 5/14/20, 8:30 p.m. A man assaulted and took personal property from the victim who was walking on a sidewalk. The suspect drove away but was located nearby and arrested. Ronald Smith, 46, of Maryland, was charged with robbery and possession of marijuana. The victim had minor injuries.

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION
ROBBERY: 6900 block of Shackle Place, 5/14/20, 3 p.m. Four teenagers approached another teenager, displayed a weapon, assaulted him and stole personal property. The victim received minor injuries. The suspects were described as teenage males.
