SULLY DISTRICT STATION

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 14120-C Lee Highway (Domino’s), 3/14/22, 2:12 a.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. 

MOUNT VERNON DISTRICT STATION 

STOLEN AUTO WITH RECOVERY/ DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED/ ASSAULT ON LAW ENFORCMENT: North Kings Highway and School Street, 3/10/22, 11:13 p.m. The victim, a ride-share driver, called police after a passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Alexandra, stole his vehicle. The woman then crashed the vehicle a short distance away. She was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. At the hospital, she assaulted an officer. No officers were injured. The woman was charged with driving under the influence, grand larceny, and assault on law enforcement.   

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: 5696 Telegraph Road (Bestway), 3/15/22, 3:27 a.m. Two men forced entry into the business and took property. 

MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION 

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 1961 Chain Bridge Road (Prince Jewelers), 3/14/22, 7:57 p.m. A man entered the business and took property with force. No injuries were reported. 

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 8100 block of Strawberry Lane, 3/15/22, 2:35 p.m. The victim had his property and car keys taken from a locker inside a business. He went out to his vehicle and discovered it stolen. Utilizing a tracking device inside the victim’s vehicle, officers were able to find the vehicle and arrested a 31-year-old man from Chantilly. The man was charged with grand larceny, six counts of credit card theft, petit larceny, and false ID to law enforcement. 

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 9300 block of Lee Highway, 3/16/22, 5:33 p.m. The victim and a man were conversing in a common area when, for unknown reasons, the man produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act. 

MASON DISTRICT STATION

STOLEN AUTO RECOVERY: 3000 block of Castle Road, 3/11/22, 11:08 a.m. Officers were called to the location for a suspicious man sitting inside a parked vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man with no fixed address sitting inside a vehicle that was reported stolen earlier in the day from a neighboring jurisdiction. The man was taken into custody and charged with grand larceny. 

MALICIOUS WOUNDING: 6200 block of Little River Turnpike, 3/14/22, 2:02 a.m. The victim was waiting for a ride share vehicle when an unknown vehicle pulled up. A man got out of that vehicle with a metal pipe and assaulted the victim. The man got back in the vehicle and left. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for injuries that were not considered life threatening. This does not appear to be a random act.  

ROBBERY: 4300 block of John Marr Drive, 3/16/22, 4:11 p.m. A female approached the victim trying to sell jewelry. During their conversation, the female grabbed the victim’s arm and took property. The female left in a vehicle. No injuries were reported.  

COMMERCIAL ROBBERY: 4810 Beauregard Street (Tobacco Hut and Vape), 3/17/22, 6:42 p.m. Several men entered the business and took property with force. No injuries were reported. 

RESTON DISTRICT STATION 

No events to report. 

FRANCONIA DISTRICT STATION 

ROBBERY: 6700 block of Metropolitan Center Drive, 3/12/22, 1:28 a.m. A man approached the victim and took property by force. No injuries were reported. Warrants were obtained for the man. 

ROBBERY: Beulah Street and Manchester Boulevard, 3/13/22, 10:45 p.m. The victim was walking on the sidewalk when a black vehicle stopped behind her. A man exited the vehicle, displayed a firearm, and took property. The man got back in the vehicle and left. No injuries were reported. 

COMMERICAL BURGLARY: 4713 Backlick Road (Express Food Market), 3/15/22, 2:35 p.m. Someone forced entry into the business and took property. 

WEST SPRINGFIELD DISTRICT STATION 

COMMERICAL ROBBERY: 8319 Old Keene Mill Road (7-Eleven), 3/14/22, 1:17 a.m. Two men entered the business, displayed a weapon, and took property. The men left the area in a vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

WEAPONS VIOLATION: Little River Turnpike and Lake Boulevard, 3/14/22, 1:17 p.m. Officers made a traffic stop on a 2005 Toyota Matrix. Officers conducted a search of the car and discovered a firearm. The three occupants of the Toyota ran away. Officers found two of the men, a 20-year-old from Manassas and a 20-year-old from Maryland. The man from Manassas was charged with illegally possessing a firearm, possessing a firearm on school property, fleeing from law enforcement, and driving without a license. The man from Maryland was charged with false identification to law enforcement, fleeing from law enforcement, illegally possessing a firearm, and being in possession of a firearm on school property. The third man has been identified and warrants were obtained for his arrest.
