Detectives Seek Community’s Help Identifying Culmore Shooting Suspect

Mason District Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau continue to investigate last week’s non-fatal shooting in Culmore. 

At 1:06 p.m. on May 10, officers responded to the 3300 block of Glen Carlyn Drive in the Culmore area of Falls Church for a shot person. Officers found the victim, an adult man, suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower body. Officers provided aid until fire and rescue personnel arrived. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries later to be determined to be non-life threatening.  

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage and identified the suspect pictured below. The man was described as a Hispanic, wearing a surgical mask, a black sweatshirt, and black pants.
