Detectives Arrest Tool Toting Suspect Connected to Series of Commercial Burglaries

McLean and Reston Police Districts – Detectives from our Criminal Investigations Division arrested Keith Duncan, 63, of Maryland for using tools to commit multiple commercial burglaries.

On October 13, around 6:30 p.m., officers were called to a commercial burglary in the 8200 block of Greensboro Drive in McLean.  Officers apprehended Duncan, who was discovered inside the location. Duncan was found in possession of burglarious tools, including screwdrivers, and a collection of stolen property. He was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and was released on a $1000 bond.

Following a thorough and comprehensive investigation, detectives gathered physical and video evidence linking Duncan to a series of burglaries spanning across the Reston and McLean Districts.

Detectives are reaching out to the community, urging residents to come forward if they can identify Duncan or recall seeing him inside any other businesses. The ongoing inquiry suggests Duncan may be linked to additional commercial burglaries.
