Next Window Please: Detectives Seek out Drive-Thru Bank Robbers

Reston Police District – Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau are seeking the public’s help identifying two suspects who attempted to rob a bank in Fox Mill.

On March 14, at 10:47 a.m., officers responded to Wells Fargo Bank at 2575 John Milton Drive in Fox Mill for an attempted bank robbery. Two men in a black Audi SUV entered the bank’s drive thru. They passed a note that threatened the employee and demanded money. Shortly after passing the note, the two suspects drove away with nothing in hand. No weapons were displayed during the interaction, and no one was injured.

Officers and detectives searched the area extensively, but the suspects were not found. Both suspects were described as black men in their early to mid-20’s and wearing dark clothing. They fled the scene in the black Audi SUV pictured.
