Update: Detectives Release Video of Hotel Robbery Suspects and Car

Mount Vernon Police District – Detectives have released surveillance video of the suspects in the robbery that occurred at the Quality Inn at 7212 Richmond Highway, on Thursday, December 15, shortly before 11 p.m.

They are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two men and car that appear in this video.

The first suspect was described as black, 25 to 30 years old, and around 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black or dark blue hooded jacket, blue jeans, black sneakers, black gloves, and a ski mask. The second suspect was described as black, 25 to 30 years old, and around 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black jacket with a gray, hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes, gloves, and a ski mask.

The car was described as a silver compact sedan.

(Original Release, 12/16/16): ROBBERY: 7200 block of Richmond Hwy (Quality Inn), 12/15/2016 around 10:44 p.m. Two men entered and demanded money from two employees. One suspect jumped over the counter; the other displayed a gun. The victims complied and the suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of money. The victims did not require medical attention.
