Man Charged for Additional Sexual Assault

Mason Police District – Patrick Michael Chaloupka, 38, of Woodbridge has been charged with additional felonies for another sexual assault that occurred at a Falls Church hotel. Officers responded to a hotel on Aug. 26 in the 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard for the report of an assault that occurred three days prior. The victim reported that she met a man through an online app and arranged to meet him at the location. When the man arrived at the room around 3 a.m., he threatened her then assaulted her. The woman was able defend herself, and Chaloupka left the hotel.

Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau Sex Crime Squad assumed the investigation. Through the physical evidence recovered at the scene and similarities of the crimes, detectives have obtained additional charges of abduction with intent to defile and forcible sodomy. Chaloupka remains held at the Adult Detention Center without bond.

Forensic Evidence Leads to Arrest of Sexual Assault Suspect

McLean Police District – A Woodbridge man has been arrested after detectives received a positive match earlier this week from a latent print recovered from the July 21 crime scene. Through this evidence, a composite sketch and other investigative leads detectives arrested Patrick Michael Chaloupka, 38, at his home yesterday. Chaloupka has been charged with rape and abduction with intent to defile. He is currently being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.

Detectives Seek Identity of Suspect in Sexual Assault Case

McLean Police District – Detectives with our Major Crimes Bureau are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect of a sexual assault that occurred yesterday morning. Shortly after 5 a.m. officers responded for a report of an assault in the 8600 block of Westwood Center Drive in the Vienna area of Fairfax County. A woman reported that an unknown man entered her hotel room, displayed a knife and sexually assaulted her. The woman was treated for injuries that were not life threatening. The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10’’, heavy set, in his 40s, last seen wearing glasses, full beard, grey shirt, sweatpants, and a small black backpack. A sketch of the suspect is included below.
