Four Charged Related to Death of Alexandria Woman

Mount Vernon Police District – Four people have been charged after Brenda Ochoa Guerrero was found deceased in her car in April.

On Apr. 13, a community member found an unconscious woman in a vehicle in the parking lot of Mount Vernon Hospital at 8033 Holland Road. Detectives from our Major Crimes Bureau responded to the scene and immediately began investigating. Detectives located surveillance footage of two men who drove the car to the hospital parking lot and two individuals who were in the SUV that picked them up. 

Through an anonymous tip, detectives identified David Littlefield, 43 and Eric Thompson, 36 both of Alexandria as the men who drove Ochoa Guerrero’s car and left her in the parking lot. The two men were picked up in another car driven by Eric Rubio, 35, of Alexandria and Yuris Pineda Gallegos, 29, of Maryland.

Through detectives’ investigation they determined Ochoa Guerrero’s death occurred at a home in the 2500 block of Fairhaven Avenue of Alexandria. Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to Ochoa Guerrero’s death. 

All four have been charged with felony concealment of a dead body. Officers assigned to the Mount Vernon Police District Neighborhood Patrol Unit and patrol arrested Littlefield, Rubio and Thompson. Yesterday, Gallegos turned herself in at the Adult Detention Center. Only Rubio and Littlefield remain held with no bond.

Detectives Seek Community’s Help Identifying Men Related to Death Investigation

Mount Vernon Police District – An autopsy has determined a woman found deceased in her car yesterday suffered from apparent gunshot wound to her upper body.

At 10:45 am on April 13, community member saw an unconscious woman in a vehicle in the parking lot of Mount Vernon Hospital located at 8033 Holland Road. Officers and fire and rescue personnel found Brenda Ochoa Guerrero, 33, of Alexandria in the passenger seat of her vehicle. She was declared deceased at the scene. Ochoa Guerrero had apparent trauma to the upper body, but no immediate cause of death could be discerned. 

Ochoa Guerrero was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to conduct an autopsy to determine exact cause and manner of death. Preliminarily, the Medical Examiner discovered that the deceased had suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

Through detectives’ investigation and review of surveillance footage, they saw two men park  Ochoa’s the vehicle at 1:11 a.m. then left the area. The men were then picked up by another SUV and left the area. Below are two videos of the men who parked Ochoa Guerrero’s vehicle.
