At 4:03 p.m. on October 24, officers from our Franconia District responded to the 9600 block of Eaton Woods Place in Lorton for a simple assault call. The victim stated he was  walking his dog when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect then, without provocation, picked up and shook his dog.
