BURGLAR’S CROSS-COUNTRY TOUR CANCELLED

Fairfax County, VA – Seven out-of-state suspects, possibly linked to other burglaries across the country, have been arrested in Chesterfield, VA for a Lake Barcroft burglary.

On April 21, around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Columbia Pike in Lake Barcroft for a report of a burglary. Home surveillance cameras were able to capture multiple suspects entering the home. The suspects stole jewelry, handbags, and a safe.

Detectives canvassed the neighborhood and were able to obtain surveillance footage of the vehicle involved. Through their investigation, they determined the suspects fled to Chesterfield, Virginia after the burglary. On April 23, FCPD detectives traveled to Chesterfield and with the assistance of Chesterfield Police Department, arrested seven suspects linked to the burglary.

Detectives obtained warrants for the suspects in connection with the Lake Barcroft burglary. Through their investigation, detectives believe the suspects have traveled and committed crimes in states across the country.

All seven suspects are currently being held in the Chesterfield County Jail pending their extradition to Fairfax County. The investigation continues to determine if the group is linked to any additional burglaries in Fairfax County.

  • Eime Dalef Cardenaz, 20, of Flushing, NY has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Ferney Alejandro Vargas Angarita, 33, has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Giorgina Carolina Sanchez Carrasquero, 26, has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Juan Pablo Parra Quintero, 18, has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Heiser Land Pineda Cespedes, 34, has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Karen Dayan Guanume Diaz, 24, of Chicago, IL has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
  • Jose Andres Hernandez Sora, 20, has been charged with Burglary and Grand Larceny.
