PEEPING: 12200 block of Laurel Glade Court, 6/1/17 around 12:04 a.m. A man returned home and saw someone standing next to the bedroom window of his apartment. The suspect fled when he was seen. Officers searched the area, but did not locate him.

UPDATE: Anonymous Tip Leads to an Arrest of “Upskirting” Suspect at Walmart

FAIR OAKS DISTRICT STATION

BIAS CRIME/ASSAULT: 2900 block of Chain Bridge Road (Oakton Shopping Center), 5/31/17 around 7 p.m. Two women were walking when a man nearby spoke to them. The suspect became upset and shouted ethnic slurs at them, then assaulted one woman. Charges are pending further investigation.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE CARE AND SHELTER/UNLICENSED DOG/ARREST: 13000 block of Fair Lakes Shopping Center, 6/1/17 around 5:22 p.m. Animal Protection Police Officers charged a woman after being called for a report of a dog left inside a car in the parking lot. An investigation determined the dog, a yorkie terrier, appeared to be in distress and the temperature inside the car was at least 90 degrees. Officers spoke to the owner, Roberta Frisby, 39, of Centreville, was issued two summonses for unlicensed dog and failure to provide appropriate care and shelter.
